Woman arrested for striking male with car

LAKISHA BOBBIE LEEOn 9/22/13 BCSO patrol deputies were dispatched to US 25 near the Jenkins County line for a male subject who had been intentionally struck by a vehicle.  Upon arrival deputies spoke with the 42 year old male victim who stated that he and his female companion, Lakisha Bobbie Lee, had been traveling from Wrens to Statesboro on US 25 when a verbal argument began over a cellphone.  Lee pulled over, told the victim to get out which he did, and then exited the vehicle also.  Lee then physically assaulted the victim prior to re-entering the vehicle, putting it in reverse, and striking the victim with the car.  The victim was transported to EGRMC with non-lifethreatening injuries.

Jenkins County Sheriff’s deputies were able to locate and stop Lee in their county and she was transported back to Bulloch.  Lee was booked into the Bulloch County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault and several other traffic charges.  She awaits further court action.
