Investigators arrest suspect wanted for multiple burglaries

Over the past month, BCSO investigators have responded to several commercial and school burglaries where drink and snack machines were broken into and change removed.  Two of these incidents occurred at Southeast Bulloch High School and one at Sheppard Lumber Company on US 80 E.  The burglary at Sheppard Lumber was captured on video and an image of the suspect was obtained.  The image indicated that the suspect had a distinctive tattoo on his arm.  The image was distributed to local media and social media sites in an effort to identify the suspect.

Investigators were contacted after the surveillance image was distributed by a member of the community.  Rodney Jason Hall (49 yoa, Park Place Apts, Statesboro Ga) was identified as the suspect and later arrested at his apartment on Lanier Drive.  He was transported to the Bulloch County Jail where he remains without bond charged with 3 cts of Burglary-1st degree, 3 cts of Theft by Taking, 2 cts of Concealing Identity with Mask, and 6 cts of Criminal Trespass.  Hall is also on Parole.  Anyone with additional information on this case should contact Inv John Quattlebaum at 912-764-1785 or submit an anonymous tip to tips@bullochsheriff.com
