Since its inception in 1998, the Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team (B.C.D.S.T.) has been responsible for several million dollars worth of seizures of illegal drugs, weapons, personal property, and money in Bulloch County and the surrounding areas. This specialized unit has arrested hundreds of persons on charges ranging from local street drug crimes to federal organized drug trafficking charges.
The Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team continues to work in close conjunction with other Narcotics Task Forces in the area, as well as, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in an effort to curtail the illegal drug activity in our area. The B.C.D.S.T. continues to take a proactive approach to dealing with persons engaging in the illegal drug trade. They are constantly upgrading equipment and changing tactics to combat the elusive dealers of illegal drugs. The personnel are equipped with advanced weaponry and safety equipment to confront the dangerous criminal element that tries to evade them.
The Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team is comprised of five highly skilled and experienced investigators. The B.C.D.S.T. is also supported by a full time administrative assistant that handles the major influx of complaints of illegal drug activity, as well as, numerous other activities.
