The Court Services Division was formed in 2013 under Captain Keith Stone to consolidate all functions associated with the courts in Bulloch County. Court Services is composed of the Court Security Section (responsible for the physical security of the Magistrate, Probate, State, and Superior Courts), Transport Section (responsible for all inmate movement), and Warrants/Civil Section (responsible for serving all warrants and civil process). The goal of Court Services is to create an environment where the judicial process can function safely and smoothly.
General Courthouse Rules:
No short pants allowed in the courtroom.
All pants will be pulled up, no underwear will be shown.
All shirts will be tucked in. No tank tops allowed.
No hats allowed in the courtroom.
Cellular phones must be TURNED OFF.
Babies and small children are not allowed in the courtroom.
Absolutely no weapons of any kind allowed in the courtroom.
Other rules may also apply at the discretion of Court Security Personnel.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE RULES!!
