The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office employs five full time Communications Officers. Each of these Officers is State of Georgia P.O.S.T. certified in the area of communications. These Communications Officers are the central hub of the Sheriff’s Office. They handle a large number of incoming calls for assistance and are the life-line for the Road Patrol Division. Without these Communications Officers, Road Patrol Deputies would not be able to respond to an incident in a timely manner.
The Communications Division is comprised of one supervisor that oversees all the activities of the other officers. Each shift has a Communications Officer assigned to it and that Communications Officer plays an integral part in the operations of the shift.
The Communications Division Staff:
Lt. Greg Collins took over in January as Communications Supervisor / GCIC Compliance Officer after serving 18 years as a Road Patrol Deputy, Warrants/Civil Division Supervisor, and Road Patrol Supervisor. No posts found
